Buckleless Belt

I did have to add some more velcro to make it more stronger but other then that nice quality

My wife guessed and bought one too large by one size It actually worked well despite barely having any velcro holding

Analyzing the sizes using the one I have as a reference it seems I could go with one of two sizes and have the same amount of velcro and since I tend to strech belts buying the one slightly smaller will be the best fit after the belt starts to stretch if it stretches For me this means buying a size smaller than my pants size Had I been on the higher range of the belt range I would not think this was the thing to do

I sit in an office at a computer for 9 hours a day and the buckle bites in and leaves permanent marks Ive tried buckles with softer edges alternate form factors ratcheting from two different makers etc This belt just eliminates that

Size analysis tells me that different people may want a size other than one matching their pants size depending on your unique issues but in general starting with a belt overlaping your pants size is the best starting point if you are on the middle to high side of the belts range If you are at the bottom of the range you might want the shorter size I say that but then I read another review stating the belt was far shorter than it was supposed to be

So I decided to measure the belt I closed the velcro so that there was zero unused velcro and used a tape measure to measure the inside surface The 5658 belt measures 555 on the inside 1 of velcro works but I think a minum of 3 is desirable with 7 of velcro this gives you a max range of 4 inches either side of 555 so I estimate the max range of the 5658 to be 515 to 595 Assuming you really want a 2 size range like they are intended I would call the 5658 a 5456 so that does imply they are slightly shorter than stated but they still work for that size
The manufacturer may have a different theory on sizes Im just a layperson when it comes to designing belts
